Traditional Monk Chants Meet Modern Pop Music

With the MAGIC GREGORIAN NIGHT – Sound of the Monks, Rosenheim is expecting a concert on November 26, 2026, that combines traditional Gregorian chants with modern pop music. The event will take place at the Ballhaus Rosenheim and will start at 8:00 PM.

Gregorian Sounds Meet Pop Music

Gregorian chants represent a special musical atmosphere: calm, mellow-sounding melodies, a distinctive vocal approach, and a sound image with a sacred character. In this event, these traditional elements are combined with modern pop music. This creates a musical contrast between historically influenced chants and familiar contemporary styles.

The title Sound of the Monks refers to the characteristic focus of the evening. The spotlight is not solely on the original forms of singing but on their connection with modern musical influences. The MAGIC GREGORIAN NIGHT is aimed at visitors who appreciate extraordinary concert formats and cross-genre arrangements.
